Samantha DeLuca, DO, FACOG
Ob/Gyn
Dr. Samantha DeLuca is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist who has been practicing in South Jersey for 22 years. She is delighted to join Dr. Epstein and the team at Advocare Epstein Gynecology to continue serving the gynecologic needs of women in all stages of life.
For as long as she can remember, Dr DeLuca’s dream has been to be an OB/GYN and she is deeply grateful to be living her dream. She graduated from University of Pennsylvania with her BA in 1989, and worked for several years doing central nervous system research for RW Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute before returning to medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 1995. After earning her medical degree in 1999, Dr. DeLuca completed a 1 year rotating medical internship at PCOM and then completed her OBGYN residency at Christiana Care Heath System in Newark, Delaware.
She joined Penncare Pinelands OBGYN at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly after graduation in 2004 and worked there as a generalist OBGYN delivering babies, performing surgery, and caring for patients in the office until the practice was acquired by Virtua in 2017. During the pandemic in July of 2020, Dr. DeLuca moved her practice to Inspira Health in Mullica Hill, Sewell and Deptford, where she had the opportunity to work with many patients, new and former, providing comprehensive gynecologic and pregnancy care. She has recently made the transition to gynecology-only to focus both on general gyn care and troubleshooting menstrual issues and hormonal concerns in a population in need of support. She continues to work as an obstetrician laborist for OBHG at Jersey Shore University Hospital in Neptune, NJ.
Dr. DeLuca is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and The Menopause Society. She has been named “Top Doc” and “Top Doc for Women” by SJ Mag and South Jersey Magazine for over 15 years (2009, 2014, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024).
Dr. DeLuca considers it an honor and a privilege to be invited to care for the most private and personal aspects of her patients’ health. She is thrilled to return home to the area that she first began her OB/GYN practice years ago and to “grow older” with the midlife patients as well as mentor the new generation. She has a special interest in gynecologic endocrinology, PCOS, endometriosis, infertility, a passion for menopausal and perimenopausal medicine, non pharmacologic alternatives to treating disease, and a burden for family cancer genetics testing and treatment.
Dr. DeLuca has been married for 18 years and has two children, a girl and a boy, both pitchers. She is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan despite being the only non athlete in the house. She loves watching her children play sports, going to Phillies games, traveling to Disney World, cooking, walking, and creating.
