Services

Birth Control & HPV

Keeping your reproductive system healthy and determining family planning solutions are integral to every woman's gynecological health. At our offices in New Jersey, our gynecologist uses her comprehensive knowledge of both to help you tailor a solution best suited to your needs. For birth control, many short and long-term options are available. Our gynecologist educates patients living in New Jersey on short-term barrier contraceptives like condoms, diaphragms, birth control sponges, and cervical caps. If you're looking for a long-term solution for birth control, there are pills, hormonal and nonhormonal intrauterine devices, patches, injections, implants, and rings. Our gynecologist can educate on both the effectiveness and ability of each to protect you from STDs such as HPV. For HPV, our gynecologist recommends vaccination for our patients.

Gynecology Care

Annual well-woman exams are one of the most important things you can do to ensure you're reproductive system is healthy. At Epstein Gynecology we offer evaluation and treatment of many health concerns during your well-woman exam. Some of the concerns, we address include abnormal pap smears, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), the Menopause Symptom Complex, incontinence, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), genital prolapse, and breast concerns including breast cancer gene testing. We strive to be the gynecologist of choice for women living in New Jersey and strive to offer comprehensive services and care.

Menopause

Perimenopause begins in a woman's 30s or 40s as her body produces less estrogen and progesterone. Periods become more irregular until they stop altogether. Menopause begins 12 months after your last period. Most women start menopause around age 51 as their ovaries no longer produce any estrogen at all. Menopause can bring several uncomfortable symptoms - night sweats, painful sex, and hot flashes. Advocare Epstein OB/GYN offers women living in New Jersey a variety of services to help ease through perimenopause and menopause. Some of the available options include hormone replacement therapy, lifestyle changes, and other recommendations to keep patients healthy, happy, and strong.
